Transportation

Owning/Renting/Borrowing a car: before you can drive, you are required by law
to purchase car insurance and you must also purchase a license plate. More

Public transportation: Metro Transit is the primary public transportation operator in the
Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
  • CSP offers College passes for $165 or less per semester. They can be purchased online here. Follow the link and scroll down to Cashier.
  • Bus/train fares range from $2.00 to $3.25 depending on time of day. 
  • Catch the train on the Blue or Green line. Light-rail transit (LRT) connects downtown Minneapolis with the airport, Mall of America, Saint Paul and 43 other stations.
