Transcript Evaluation Policy and Information

CSP's Transcript Evaluation Policy:
All students are required to have a transcript evaluation on file at CSP for each international degree earned at your previous level.
  • Bachelor's students must complete a high school transcript evaluation.
  • Master's students must complete a bachelor's transcript evaluation.
  • Doctorate students must complete a master's transcript evaluation.
Transcript Evaluation Waiver:
The following students qualify for a transcript evaluation waiver and are exempt from this requirement:
  • SACM-sponsored students who are not transferring credits from schools outside the US
  • Soonchunhyang University exchange students
  • United International College (UIC) exchange students
Students who do not have a completed transcript evaluation on file will have a hold placed on their account in the first semester.

How Do I Get a Transcript Evaluation?
You may either order the transcript evaluation on your own or CSP will order it for you. Submit your completed Transcript Evaluation or proof of a completed transcript evaluation order to International Admissions (intladmissions@csp.edu).

1. How to order your own transcript evaluation -
The transcript evaluation must be ordered from a company who is a member of NACES. To find a list of NACES members, click here.

Order a transcript evaluation that shows your GPA and US degree equivalent. Do not order a "course analysis" transcript evaluation unless you wish to transfer in international credits to Concordia.

*If your bachelor's degree was completed in three years, you must use WES as your evaluation company*

While students may choose to order from any NACES member they wish, Concordia has a partnership with SpanTran: The Evaluation Company. Their online application form can be found below for your convenience.

2. How to have CSP order your transcript evaluation -
CSP will automatically order transcript evaluations for students who have not turned in a transcript evaluation or provided proof of a completed transcript evaluation order by noon on the Friday of the second week of classes. The fee for the transcript evaluation will be billed to your student account.

Drop off your sealed transcript at the front desk of the Admission's office. The envelope must be sealed for the transcript to count as official.

If your transcript evaluation is ordered by CSP, DO NOT place an order on your own for a transcript evaluation. This step has already been completed for you.
