Invitation Letters

Invitation letters are not required by U.S. Embassies or consulates in order for family members of F-1 students to obtain visitor visas. As such, ISS does not issue invitation letters for students’ family members to visit the U.S.

For those who wish to write their own invitation letter to invite family members to the U.S., please see the instructions and letter template below provided by ISS. Again, this letter is not required, and ISS provides this template and instructions as a courtesy only.

Invitation Letter Instructions and Template

To initiate other types of letter requests, click here and login with Campus ID (use your CSP credentials). Requests can be found in the Control Center section of the request page.
 
Step 1: In your Control Center, click on Letter Request

Step 2: Click on the Letter Requests Questionnaire
