Local Organizations and Events
The Hospitality Center - The HC offers meals, activities, events, English tutoring, and host families to international students. The HC is a Christian faith-based organization of local Americans and international students who are studying and living in the Twin Cities.

Global Minnesota - Global Minnesota connects individuals, organizations, and communities to the world. Through a unique lineup of programs offered from the Twin Cities to Greater Minnesota, Global Minnesota takes relevant and timely information on international issues, foreign policy, and cultural topics, and provides the space and opportunity for Minnesotans to engage and discuss.
  • Education Programs  - Would you like to share your culture with US elementary or high school students? Global Minnesota has volunteer programs that connects international volunteers like you to local school students! It's a great way to get involved in the community, practice English presentation skills, and build your US resume!
  • International Student Engagement Program - Global Minnesota is developing a new initiative to help international students engage with the wider community, share their cultures and perspectives, and build mutually beneficial relationships with more Minnesotans.
    • Global Ambassadors - Global Ambassadors provide feedback on programs and events to help develop new ideas for the International Student Engagement Program.
